GREEN TERROR CICHLID (Andinoacara rivulatus)

The Green Terror Cichlid (Andinoacara rivulatus) is one of the most popular South American cichlids, admired for its dazzling metallic green and blue coloration, iridescent scales, and vibrant orange or white fin edging. Intelligent, hardy, and full of personality, this species quickly learns to recognize its owner and makes a spectacular centerpiece in a large freshwater aquarium.

Green Terrors are active fish that thrive in spacious aquariums with rocks, driftwood, and open swimming areas. Their striking colors become even more vibrant with maturity, proper nutrition, and excellent water quality.

Green Terror Cichlids are best housed with other medium to large, similarly tempered fish. They require excellent filtration, regular water changes, and a varied diet to maintain their health and brilliant coloration.
