This Central American specie can reach a length of 35 centimeters, about 12" TL. It is one of the most colourful cichlid species, with males displaying metallic green, blue, pink and orange along their flanks. This specie is low color when juvenil, and get colorful as it grows.
F1 means First generation from wild Parents.
It will develop Great colors. In this sense it is very important feed the fish with a good quality high protein fish food.
