Description
Haludaria is a genus of cyprinids native to freshwater habitats in the Western Ghats of India.
Haludaria fasciata, is an open water, substrate egg-scatterer, and adults do not guard the eggs. It grows to a length of 6 centimetres (2.4 in).
This generally peaceful barb is a very active species that is perfect for the community planted aquarium. Males develop beautiful red-pink coloration!
